Weekend Car Shows & Events Roundup
Car shows and events are being held this weekend that offer shops the chance to display their latest projects, compete for awards, connect with new customers and support local charities, including World of Wheels events in Indianapolis and Kansas City. 1927 Ford Built by So-Cal Speed Shop Named America’s Most Beautiful Roadster

Local Tech School Students to Attend 2012 HRR Trade Show
The Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show will once again open its doors to students from local tech colleges in an effort to promote interest in the restoration hobby. The students and instructors will be allowed on the show floor during special “Future of the Industry” hours on Saturday.

Dave Lane Named 2012 Grand National Roadster Show Builder of the Year
Dave Lane, owner of FastLane Rod Shop in Donahue, Iowa, has been named the 2012 Grand National Roadster Show Builder of the Year, show producer RodShows.com has announced. Lane will have a booth at the show, which takes place Jan. 27, 28 and 29 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, where he will display several builds.
