The Ducktail Run takes place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Gas City, Indiana. The event is open to 1972-and-older vehicles, and awards will be presented in competitions including Best Car Name, Best Idle Drags and Best License Plate Name. The James Dean Festival & Run takes place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Fairmount, Indiana. The event will feature a car show, muffler rapping competition, flame-throwing competition, car corrals, parades, races and awards presentations. The 2012 Santa Fe Concorso takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at The Club at Las Campanas in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Vintage Street Rodders of America hosts the Third Annual Thunder Road Rod Run Friday and Saturday at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tennessee. The Route 66 Cruisers Car & Motorcycle Show 2012 takes place Friday and Saturday in Claremore Lake, Oklahoma. The event kicks off Friday with a cruise-in and screening of the film “Deuce of Spades.” The car show takes place Saturday with three trophies given per class in 50 classes. There will also be vendors, drawings and giveaways.

The 24th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri. The judged car show will feature seminars, a dyno challenge, a burnout competition, a demolition derby, awards presentations, pinstriping by Von Hot Rod and vendors. Steele Rubber Products hosts its annual open house Saturday in Denver, North Carolina. The event will feature a car show, plant tours, seminars and competitions.
