Speedway Motors‘ Universal Shock and Headlight Mounts allow a builder to mount the headlights and shocks with one part. The steel mounts are available in weld-on or bolt-on configurations, are designed to fit on the outside and top surfaces of the frame rail, and mount most headlights requiring 1/2-inch mounting holes.

Two different sets of upper shock mount holes allow the builder to choose the ideal shock angle for the application, according to the company. Lightening holes have been added to give the mounts a more stylish and vintage look.

The mounts measure 6 inches from the top of the frame rail to the upper shock mount hole. They’re available plain or can be ordered in kit form that includes 1.75-inch shackles (plain or optional stainless steel), with an extended stud for lower shock mounting.
