May: Return of the Great One GTO
This eye-catching 1965 Pontiac GTO, our May Car of the Month, was built by the Performance West Group of Bonsall, California. It was built specifically to showcase the harmony between modern components and performance and timeless muscle car looks, said its owner, Larry Weiner. One of the car’s most notable features is its gleaming gold paint job, which is reminiscent of the rare, original “Tiger Gold” lacquer that was first offered in the 1965 model year.
