April: Cold Blue Steel
Our April “centerfold” took its name from its unique paint color, a blue metallic DuPont hue. This 1933 Ford Roadster was built by Eric Peratt of Pinkees Rod Shop in Windsor, Colorado. The car’s owner, John Kokoska, found the vehicle in 1994 with its original steel body and glass fenders. Kokoska sent it to Pinkees Rod Shop in the late-1990s to be upgraded to an all-steel car. It was named a Top Five Finalist in 2001 for the Goodguys’ “Most Beautiful Street Rod” award.
