August: Mountain Pearl F-100 Truck
Our only “Truck of the Month” ran in the August issue. Tom Pagano’s Mountain Pearl, a 1953 Ford F-100 pickup, has a long history, stemming back to being on the first-ever four-color cover of Hotrod Magazine. The truck features a custom dash fit with a 1965 T-bird cluster, a floating 1959 Oldsmobile steerign wheel and a Plexiglass firewall to make the engine visible from inside the truck. Some of the most notable features on the truck’s exterior include a four-inch chop, “pinched” fenders and a 1955 Chevy truck grille, mounted upside down!
