HTP America has introduced its new Invertig 221 AC/DC Inverter Welder, which is designed to allow the user to produce professional welds with all types of metal. The 221 has a full 220 amps of welding power and weighs only 40 pounds.

The Invertig 221 offers independent AC amperage adjustment, which gives the user control over the heat input to the work piece and the tungsten by allowing for separate adjustment of the electrode negative and positive amperage. The welder allows the user to adjust the AC frequency from 20–200 Hz.

 The welder also has a high-speed DC pulse that allows for work on mild steel, 4130, stainless steel, inconel and titanium.

The Invertig 221 allows for storage of up to 64 separate welding programs. There are three models to choose from: air-cooled, water-cooled and dual voltage.
