Permatex Introduces New Liquid Electrical Tape

Permatex has introduced its new Liquid Electrical Tape, which goes on as a liquid and creates a flexible, vinyl polymer seal that’s waterproof and durable.

The Liquid Electrical Tape is designed to keep electrical connections together and insulated and will allow the user to completely cover wire and cable connections to prevent air, dirt and moisture from impeding the flow of electrical current, said the company.

The tape is UV- and chemically resistant and will not degrade when it’s exposed to light or harsh substances. It stay flexible in temperatures ranging from -50 degrees Fahrenheit to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Liquid Electrical Tape will adhere to a variety of surfaces, eliminating the need for traditional electrical tape or shrink tubing, said the company. It will dry to the touch within five minutes.

It can be used on trailer hitch lighting, battery terminal connections, auxiliary light connections, speaker wires, stereo systems, alarms, control panel wiring, among others.

The Permatex Liquid Electrical Tape is offered in a 4-ounce carded, brush-top bottle.

Good product if you can reseal the can and use it again. I have used this kind of product in the past and once you use it once the product will harden in the can even if lid is tighten tight. So make it expensive just for a one time use.
