Scott Drake has introduced its new “FoMoCo”-scripted headlamps, which are authentic reproductions of the headlamps that appeared on some early Mustangs. The 7-inch, round headlamps offer an original look but with safer halogen technology, according to the company.
The company used original Ford NOS lamps and duplicated every appearance detail. Although two “FoMoCo” script designs were produced by Ford, Scott Drake chose to reproduce the version with a more-prominent, reverse-raised logo as it’s more prized by Mustang enthusiasts, according to the company.

Speedway Motors‘ Universal Shock and Headlight Mounts allow a builder to mount the headlights and shocks with one part. The steel mounts are available in weld-on or bolt-on configurations, are designed to fit on the outside and top surfaces of the frame rail, and mount most headlights requiring 1/2-inch mounting holes.
Two different sets of upper shock mount holes allow the builder to choose the ideal shock angle for the application, according to the company. Lightening holes have been added to give the mounts a more stylish and vintage look.

Modern Lighting for Not-so-Modern Cars

Today’s custom lighting isn’t just about being able to see the road, it’s also about how your customers are being seen. They expect the lights that you put on their car to keep them safe and look great doing it.
Since the earliest days of brass lamps, carbide generators and Prest-O-Lite cylinders, automotive lighting has been just as much about how a car looks as how well the driver sees. Pioneering motorists chose their lighting systems mainly for economical performance, but even by the late 1920s some intrepid individuals were trading downrange illumination for the aerodynamic illusion of Woodlite Parabolics.

Delta Tech Industries has expanded its line of 7-inch performance headlights to include a headlight with a built-in turn signal. This headlight replacement features European precision lead-crystal prismatic lens that is DOT-certified and encased in a stamped steel, a vacuum-metalized reflector that is protection from moisture and elements with a rubber boot. It is powered with a choice of Xenon (Hyper White, H4 60/55 watt bulbs) or Halogen (H4 60/55 watt bulbs). A miniature amber bulb is mounted in the lower portion of the reflector so it does not interfere with the headlights’ main stream of light, said the company. The amber bulbs is energized by either the right or left turn factory blinker, allowing each user to either enhance the factory turn signal or replace it entirely.
