Early bird registration for 2012 Goodguys Custom Rod & Association events is available now to association members, Goodguys has announced. Goodguys members who register for a 2012 event prior to Dec. 31 will receive $15 off the normal at-event registration fee.

Two all-Corvette events will be held this weekend to honor veterans.
This first weekend in November features car shows honoring veterans and supporting important causes, including Vets ‘n Vettes at The National Corvette Museum and the Texas Firewalkers’ Hotrods & Hogs Custom Car Show. Vets ‘n Vettes takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Whether your ideal weekend involves cruising along coastal highways or crunching through streets covered with autumn leaves, the right car show for you is taking place this weekend, such as the 15th Annual Cruisin’ the Coast, which is winding its way along Mississippi’s Gulf Coast, or the 8th Annual One Room School Car Show, taking place at an Ohio dairy that’s also hosting haunted wagon rides. The 15th Annual Cruisin’ the Coast continues through Sunday along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The weeklong cruise covers 30 miles with stops in Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, D’Iberville, Gulfport and Ocean Springs. The event will feature cruise-ins, parades, a swap meet, an auto auction, a car corral, a car show, live entertainment, a sock hop, drawings and awards presentation. Goodguys Announces New Date & Location for East Coast Nationals

Next year’s 21st East Coast Nationals will take place Father’s Day weekend, June 15–17, at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts, Goodguys has announced. This will mark the first time Goodguys will hold a national event in the Old Colony State. The event was formerly held in Rhinebeck, New York.

Meguiar’s to Present Car Crazy International Vehicle Showcase at SEMA Show

Top show cars from around the world will be on display at the SEMA Show, held Nov. 1–4 in Las Vegas. Out of thousands of car shows attended by Meguiar’s representatives in over 90 countries, the owners of nine of the top show cars in the world accepted the company’s invitation to display their cars at the SEMA Show, which will be brought in from across the globe by Passport Transport.
These cars will be on display, front and center, outside the convention hall beside the SEMA Car Crazy TV Stage. Throughout the four days of the show, the car owners will be a major attraction along with their cars, providing insight into the car hobby in their respective countries.
