ididit Introducing New Mustang Steering Columns at HRR Trade Show

ididit plans to enter its new Mustang steering columns as part of the New Product Showcase, to be judged on Thursday, March 11.

ididit, inc. of Tecumseh, Michigan, has announced it will be introducing three new Mustang steering columns at the 2010 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show. The new columns will be available for 1965–1966, 1967 and 1968–1969 Mustang models.

HRR Trade Show's New Interior Fab Workshop

The Interior Fabrication Workshop will be offered on Saturday of the HRR Trade Show from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.

The Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show has introduced a new event for its 2010 schedule. This year, Mobile Solutions will be hosting an Interior Fabrication Workshop, designed to teach important skills such as advanced fabrication and router techniques. This four-hour intensive workshop is not only free but open to all HRR Trade Show Attendees.

Get Ready for Education & Training Day at the HRR Trade Show!

The 12^th Annual Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show is taking place March 12–13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Attendees who come into town a day early can take part in the 40 seminars being offered during Thursday’s Education & Training Day. All attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion for each session they attend from start to finish.

I’m extremely excited for this year’s Education & Training Day because we have been sold out and manufacturers have committed far in advance to host seminars due to the great turn out last year.

SEMA Councils to Hold Long-Range Planning Meetings

Two SEMA councils, the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) and Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA), will be holding their long-range planning meetings in the next few weeks. The ARMO meeting will be held at SEMA’s Diamond Bar, California, headquarters on Thursday, January 28 and the HRIA meeting will be held at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, February 6.

Gene Winfield's "Maybellene" Cadillac To Be Auctioned Off in January

Gene Winfield designed his custom Cadillac "Maybellene" with the lyrics to Chuck Berry's song in mind.

After listening to Chuck Berry’s hit song “Maybellene,” legendary custom car builder and designer Gene Winfield decided he would build his own custom Cadillac that would be worthy of the name “Maybellene” and to serve as his personal drive-around custom.

When Winfield finished his dream car, he had created a show-stopping Cadillac masterpiece. And now this masterpiece will cross the auction block at the Russo Steele auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, on January 20-24, 2010.
