Kaase Introduces New Boss Nine Engine with Stack Injection

John Kaase Racing Engines has released its latest Boss Nine engine design that features a new intake manifold with a hidden plenum below and stack injection above.

The new stack-injected Boss Nine engine’s hidden plenum helps to equalize the pressures in all induction tracts and provides the engine with a clean, consistent idle, better part-throttle performance and instantaneous throttle response, according to the company. The plenum also provides for brake vacuum and empowers the MAP sensor, which has a major influence in the metering of the fuel.

New 1955-1959 Chevy Truck Instrumentation Released by Dakota Digital

Dakota Digital has introduced a new application in its VHX Series of Instrumentation for 1955-1959 Chevy trucks. The instruments feature lighted needles, backlit faces and a full character message center for all displays.

The VHX Series utilizes solid-state sensors and precision stepper motors to help to increase accuracy, according to the company. The VHX-55C-PU uses either a stock or aftermarket wiring harness, and either a stock, aftermarket, modified or late-model drivetrain.

American Autowire Introduces Wiring Update Kit for 1960s GTOs

A new Classic Update Kit has been added to American Autowire‘s series of wiring kits. The 1964-1967 Pontiac GTO Classic Update Kit is designed specifically for that make, model and year of car and is a complete wiring system with 13 features, including a replaceable headlight switch with internal 30-amp circuit breaker, retention collar nut, adjustable length shaft and custom knob.

A standard turn signal and hazard flashers are mounted onto the fuse panel and a new horn relay is mounted onto the main dash harness. The kit’s fuse box is designed to fit in the original location. The ATO fuse panels allows for easy fuse and circuit breaker accessibility, according to the company.

American Powertrain Releases New Aluminum Transmission Cross Members Supports

American Powertrain has teamed up with Brooks Specialty Products to create a new line of 1,000-horsepower-tested X-Factor aluminum transmission supports to revolutionize the transmission crossmember.

The X-Factor crossmembers are designed to be lightweight and have increased clearance to accommodate oversize exhaust systems, said the company. Made from high-grade welded aluminum alloy, the X-Factor crossmembers are about half the weight of a stock steel cross member.

New LED Third Brakelight Released by Juliano’s

Juliano’s has just released a new LED third brakelight that is divided into two sections so it can serve as a brakelight or a signal light. The two section design also works great for any car with a split rear window, according to the company.

The new light comes in two versions. For split-window cars, the one with the adjustable bracket allows it to be mounted right on the window divider. The housing is 8 inches wide and is machined from aluminum so it can be polished, plated or painted to match the car’s interior theme.

Juliano’s also offers a retrofit kit to upgrade the filament bulbs in the first version of this product to LEDs.

The new brakelight comes with complete instructions and mounting hardware.
